Would you like to know a secret?
[She's hearing it, anyway.]
I like the feeling of you nestled up between us. You're not so big that I can't hold you in my arms.

You have no idea how glad I am that I can have this again.
[ And now it might go away again, and she's just not ready for that. So, she burrows closer to her mother. ]
I missed your hugs so much.

Better than Jamie's?
[His are the best--next to Bree's.]
I don't need to break his arms now, do I?

Mom hugs when I thought I would never have them again are still the best.
[ Her voice is quiet, and she tucks her head right against her chest. ]
Jamie's are pretty good though.

He'll have to accept second place.
[Though, she imagines it's more like third--she knows Bree would do anything to have Frank again. She can't blame her for it.]
You'll have all the mom hugs, as long as I'm able.

[ Somehow, she feels like Jamie would understand. That he does. ]
You finally have both of us together, and now the world that supposedly saved us from all of this, might end.

It might. It might not. But I've seen a lot of things here, and a lot of people here are capable of amazing things. We don't know what will happen.
[If she thinks about this being lost, she won't be able to be strong for Bree or Jamie.]

[ All that Bree knows, is that she's not ready to die, she's not ready to lose her family.
She tries to hold onto the positive things her mother is saying, wanting to believe them. ]
Maybe as long as we stay together, we'll be alright.

I think so. Besides, your father isn't keen on letting us go far from him.
[At least he recognizes that, sometimes, Bree and Claire just need to be alone with one another.]

[ Bree smiles softly, happy to have her mother close, her father, too.
Her Da. ]
I don't want either of you to be anywhere else right now.
